Today we went to the zoo with school for our modeldrawing class and got the asignment to draw some animals, places, people, etc. I mainly focused on the animals because let's face it, that's what the zoo is all about.
So there I was, full of exitement, thinking it would be great. Turns out I somewhat overestimated my talents...
Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun and I would definatley want to go back and do this asignment again but Yeah ...

In case no one saw (I would not be surprised) it's a flamingo |
My first atempt of drawing an anmal wasn't that good. I supose you could see where I was headed but ... yeah, I didn't quite get there.
The second atempt was slightly better, although I would have liked it to be much more realistic.

it's supposed to be a hippo |
I feel it looks too cartoonish and not enirely in proportion. But exept from that, and the lack of realism, I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.

a parot |
I dolike my parrot, although it's not as realistic as I want it to be. But I suppose I will learn with time.
In this case I would say that Last is indeed Least. I am too embarrest to show you my first attemp of drawing a giraffe, but I supose you can image how bad it must have been. This is my second attempt of drawing the animal and I would have finished it if I had had more time.

supposed to be a giraffe but looks more like the head of a seashorse to me |
The giraffes were eating at the time (hence why his neck is going horizontal). I have no words for this, t's just so bad. I know I could have done better, buut I also know I would not have been happy with it if I did. I am never really pleased with my 'realism' drawyings, but as I said, time will teach me how to draw realisticly
